Job Description:
We are currently seeking four highly skilled Inventory Controllers to join our team for a temporary assignment in Jubail KSA. The ideal candidates will have expertise in inventory management proficiency in SAP ERP and MES systems and advanced skills in Excel for data manipulation. The primary objective of this role is to ensure meticulous control over our inventory processes and systems with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform monthly reconciliation between Manufacturing Execution System (MES) Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and physical inventory records for two companies operating in Jubail.
- Conduct random physical inventory counts on a weekly basis to validate inventory accuracy and identify discrepancies.
- Analyze inventory data and trends to identify opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements.
- Provide formalized recommendations for optimizing physical inventory management processes and strengthening control mechanisms.
- Develop and document comprehensive policies and procedures related to inventory management ensuring adherence to best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate closely with crossfunctional teams including procurement logistics and finance to ensure alignment and consistency in inventory management practices.
- Generate detailed reports and analysis on inventory performance variances and reconciliation results for management review.
- Participate in inventory audits and support internal and external audit processes as required.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in business administration Supply Chain Management or a related field. Advanced degree or professional certifications preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in inventory control and management preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Proficiency in SAP ERP and MES systems with a strong understanding of inventory management modules and functionalities.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and manipulation including experience working with large datasets and complex formulas.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to identify discrepancies and resolve issues effectively.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across functional teams and levels of the organization.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing inventory policies procedures and control mechanisms.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fastpaced environment.
- Fluency in English is required Arabic language proficiency is a plus.
