Job Description

We are currently looking for a Linux System Administrator located in Madrid to work in the banking sector.
Functions:
- Manage and maintain Linuxbased systems ensuring their optimal performance security and availability.
- Implement and oversee system updates patches and configurations.
- Monitor system resource utilization and troubleshoot performance issues.
- Deploy and manage AWS resources including Elasticache S3 RDS EC2 CloudWatch ALB NLB and ASG.
- Configure and troubleshoot networking within AWS Virtual Private Cloud (VPC).
- Utilize Kubernetes for container orchestration ensuring the stability and scalability of containerized applications.
- Utilize Elasticsearch and Kibana for efficient logs management and analysis.
- Use Git for version control including cloning repositories and branching.
- Utilize JIRA Confluence and Bitbucket for project management documentation and version control collaboration.
- Write and maintain scripts in languages such as Bash and Python for automation configuration and system tasks.
Requisitos
- Experience as a Linux system administrator (34 years)
- Experience in incident resolution and problem analysis being proactive is a must.
- AWS needed skills: Elasticache S3 RDS CloudWatch EC2 (plus ALB NLB ASG etc)
- Understanding networking/routing under AWS (VPC)
- Experience with Kubernetes (12 years).
- Knowledge and some experience with Elasticsearch and Kibana (logs management).
- Git knowledge is needed (cloning branching etc)
- Some Terraform knowledge is needed and a good plus.
- Knowledge in JIRA AND Confluence AND Bitbucket (los 3) is a plus.
- Knowledge in scripting (bash python etc)
