Speech Therapist Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Speech Therapy plan of care for facility residents and short-term patients.
  
• Assist as needed with patient screens for Speech Therapy, Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy
  
• Communicate progress and any barriers toward SLP goals with interdisciplinary team members.
  
• Meet and maintain productivity requirements set by Director of Rehab or Administrator.
  
• Complete timely Speech therapy documentation in compliance with regulatory, licensing, facility, and payor requirements.
  
• Assist with maintaining both the rehab gym equipment and treatment area in a safe manner
  
• Provide and document patient, family, and caregiver training regarding each speech therapy patient s specific plan of care and recommendations for follow up.
  
• Adhere to facility and company policies and procedures
  

Requirements

• Current Texas licensure as a Speech Therapist
  
• ASHA certified
