Roles and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with sales teams to provide presales technical expertise.
- Identify customer requirements and determine AWS solutions to meet their business and technical needs.
- Articulate the benefits of AWS services to a variety of stakeholders including technical executives and decisionmakers.
- Create and present tailored presentations and demonstrations of AWS services.
- Design and architect AWS cloudbased solutions for scalability reliability security and performance efficiency.
- Respond to technical objections and articulate the value and ROI of proposed AWS solutions.
- Lead the efforts to develop custom solution proposals and respond to RFPs/RFIs.
- Stay uptodate with AWS services market trends and industry best practices.
- Provide feedback to sales marketing and product teams on current and future product requirements.
- Conduct technical workshops and training sessions for customers or internal teams.
- Develop and maintain a technical knowledge base and reusable presales assets and tools.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by incorporating feedback to refine customer engagement strategies.
- Collaborate with AWS partners to deliver joint solutions.
- Support the sales process by leading the solution design and planning stages.
- Work with AWS Solutions Architects and other roles within AWS to ensure a cohesive team strategy.
- Maintain technical certifications and accreditations with AWS.
- Engage in thought leadership activities within the cloud computing domain.
- Establish and maintain longterm business relationships with customers.
- Manage multiple customer engagements simultaneously.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by providing exceptional presales support and guidance.
Requirements
Experience Required:
- Strong technical background with expertise in cloud migrations cloud security and cloud architecture best practices.
- Experience with managing and optimizing cloud service costs and ensuring financial efficiency.
- Handson experience with automation tools cloud orchestration and DevOps methodologies.
- Strong vendor management skills with experience in negotiating and managing contracts with cloud service providers.
- Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS Azure or Google Cloud Platform with relevant certifications.
- Demonstrated experience in a presales solution architect role preferably with cloud platforms such as AWS.
- Strong technical background with handson experience in AWS Solution Designing/Migration architecture.
- Excellent communication presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value to nontechnical stakeholders.
- Experience with AWS services and cloud architecture design principles.
- Experience in developing and implementing business continuity and disaster recovery strategies in the cloud.
- Industry certifications related to AWS (such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate or Professional) are highly desirable.
- Understanding of compliance security standards and best practices in the cloud.
- Ability to travel as required for customer meetings and engagements.
- Experience in managing technical sales cycles involving complex negotiations.
- Bachelor s degree in computer science Engineering or a related technical field; advanced degree is a plus.
