Azure Cloud Security Consultant

This is a remote position.

Requirements

• Implementing security measures to protect Azure resources including identity and access management (IAM) firewalls and encryption.
  

• Develop and implement Azure cloud security strategies policies and procedures to protect cloudbased applications infrastructure and data from potential security threats and vulnerabilities.
  

• Conduct thorough security assessments risk analyses and vulnerability scans of Azure cloud environments identifying and prioritizing security gaps and weaknesses for remediation.
  

• Collaborate with Azure Cloud Architects and Azure DevOps teams to integrate security best practices into the design development and deployment of Azure Cloud solutions leveraging Azure security services and features.
  

• Configure and manage Azure security controls and features such as Azure Security Center Azure Firewall Azure Active Directory Azure Key Vault and other securityrelated services to enhance the security posture of Azure environments.
  

• Monitor and analyze security logs alerts and incidents within Azure environments responding to and investigating security breaches unauthorized access attempts and other securityrelated events.
  

• Implement and manage security compliance and governance frameworks within Azure cloud environments ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements industry standards and best practices.
  

• Collaborate with Azure DevOps teams to establish secure development practices implement secure coding standards and conduct security reviews of Azure cloud applications and infrastructure.
  

• Stay informed about emerging security threats vulnerabilities and industry best practices and implement proactive measures to safeguard Azure cloud environments against evolving security risks.
  

• Participate in security incident response activities including postincident analysis documentation and implementation of security enhancements to prevent future security incidents.
  

• Act as a subject matter expert on Azure cloud security providing guidance training and support to internal teams and stakeholders on securityrelated matters and best practices.
