Supervise and provide professional, scientific, technical, and administrative guidance and oversight of suborinates and implemtation of the Cultural Resources Department through compliance with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act (as amnded), State of Oregon cultural resource laws, and other pertinent laws and statutes. Duties will include (but are not limited to): review and compliance for undertakings within the CTWSRO areas of interest; design and execution of cultural resource identification, evaluation, and protection efforts within the tribal holdings; engagement and consultation with agency personnel, tribal representatives, and other stakeholders.
Requirements
Masters Degree in Anthropology or related dield (must meet Department of Interior standards for archaeologly). Knowledge of tribes/treaty righrs and Federal, State, and local laws and regulations for protecting and enhancing cultural resources.
