Title: Static Equipment Lead Start Date: Negotiable (typically within 1 month notice) Location: Qatar Onshore Working Schedule: Work hours per day: 10 hrs./day. Workdays per Week: 6 days/week Workday per Month: 26 days/month Contract Term in Months: 36 Months Job Accountabilities: Lead the Static Equipment/mechanical activities Offshore Project, ensuring technical requirements (e.g. project specifications, data sheets, etc.) fully comply with project deliverables and standardized processes and to provide design support to Offshore Engineering Manager ensuring all aspects are delivered to the highest standards. Ensure that the Contractor’s Static Equipment for Topsides, Onshore Facilities (Offshore scope) Engineering, comply with the Contract requirements including codes and standards. Provide guidance to the contractor to promote compliance. Plan and schedule the Static Equipment engineering deliverables to enable efficient project execution, ensuring technical alignment and compliance with Client operational policies, standards of business conduct and project management system. Participate to key design workshop including HAZOP,3D models reviews. Supports Offshore Engineering Manager in monitoring the contractor’s progress on delivery of the required Static Equipment documents for Topsides and Pipeline disciplines. Coordinate with Subject Matter Experts with respect the disciplines involved in delivery of the Static equipment related to Topsides and ensures endorsement of Process Technical deviations to Company specifications when required. Ensure compliance with management of change procedures for changes in the contractor’s design or deviations from the company directives. Minimum Qualifications and experience required: Engineering degree/diploma or equivalent, however any qualification, technical or knowledge requirements may be waived through relevant work experience. 10+ years of relevant experience as Static Equipment lead, in a major project environment within the oil and gas industry and having a broad knowledge of engineering execution including design standards, specifications, codes, safety criteria, offshore facilities design, construction and operations. Previous knowledge of Brownfield engineering and execution required
