Job Description
LOCATION: Combination Home and Office Based in Cape Town
EDUCATION LEVEL: Diploma / Degree (advantageous)
JOB LEVEL : Intermediate to Senior
TRAVEL REQUIREMENT: Occasional
TYPE: Permanent
REMUNERATION: Industry leader (negotiable) plus profit pool.

Our client is a leader in Tourism which has over 50 years of bootsontheground experience when it comes to creating tailored luxury safaris and trips for affluent travelers.
They are not your traditional DMC they work with the ultimate luxury properties throughout Africa and each trip is carefully curated to clients specific needs.
You will be a dynamic sales consultant passionate about Africa with a history of developing long term relationships.
Ideally you will have worked with travel agents based in North America and understand the unique challenges and requirements of working with some of the best agents in the industry.
Your role will be to work alongside the General Manager and fellow sales consultants to manage relationships and covert leads with a vast variety of travel gents.
Initially you will be responsible for generating your own quotes and utilizing systems in place to help grow our portfolio of agents.
Minimum of 6 years experience in the travel industry.
This is a businesstobusiness role where you will be responsible for assisting travel agents all around the world so you will need to be flexible and adaptable to their needs and as such working hours may vary.

Day to day responsibilities:
- Creating quotes for Southern and East Africa for existing and new agents
- Creating digital presentations
- Learning new products regions and activities to better serve our clients needs
- Liaising with suppliers for reservations on behalf of clients
- To effectively action the travel booking process at all levels resulting in an efficient and costconscious travel service.
