Investment Manager Korea

This is a fantastic opportunity for an Investment Manager to join Corio Generations rapidly growing global offshore wind business. This role will assist with the management and control of our investment portfolio whilst supporting the transition to a low carbon sustainable global economy. Corio is responsible for the successful management of a 20 GW pipeline of offshore wind projects the origination of new opportunities and partnerships as well as the provision of investment management services to third party investors.

Based in Seoul you will work within a team of individuals across a portfolio of South Korean investments as the point of liaison between Corio and project coshareholders. With support of the team you will build up a detailed knowledge of the projects to facilitate the management of Corios obligations in the Shareholders Agreement and support a good governance environment.

As part of the Investment Management team you will be required to quickly establish relationships with development partners. This will require knowledge of and familiarity with shareholder documentation and experience of posttransaction delivery. You will be required to attend project meetings and discussions with both internal and external stakeholders to monitor cost progress and key project issues. The role will require regular liaison with Head of Region to assist with the production of internal reporting and governance.

You will have demonstrable experience in a similar investment role with a capacity to manage complex tasks and the ability to work autonomously with rigor and precision. You will possess excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage your own workload and meet tight timescales. You will have good interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate clearly. Experience of working across different cultures would be advantageous. A positive mindset with strong selfmotivation and comfort at simultaneously managing several tasks will be necessary. Excellent written and spoken English is a key requirement as well as the ability to use MS Office in particular MS Excel and PowerPoint.

The primary responsibility will be ensuring adherence to investment governance and documentation. Your work will inform both internal reporting and project level decision making. You will work alongside the Business Finance Partner to ensure the investment meets funding obligations on time and colleagues in the Portfolio Strategy team to facilitate a consistent portfolio treatment.

The role will be to ensure a smooth interaction across project shareholders through effective collaboration with the project control functions to ensure the following activities are undertaken timely and accurately:

• Incorporation and attendance of Board and Steering Committee meetings
• Appropriate decision governance and preparation
• Adoption and maintenance of Risk Management Frameworks
• Data and information flows between project and shareholders
