Our client is Maxlinear a leading semiconductor company in Wireless industry.
They are looking for a Sales Manager based in South Korea.
- Responsible for representing and growing MaxLinear revenue within Korea Market customer base especially wellknown Samsung Network executives and driving growth strategy dependency
- Manage key accounts and developing a business plan for each focus customers that facilitates revenue growth over the short medium and long term
- Utilize SFDC CRM platform to manage opportunity funnel and drive activity to focus segments and customers in addition to building relationships with MaxLinear international teams to enable cross territory support for customer opportunities
- Work with corporate MaxLinear team to enable accurate and timely forecasting revenue tracking quality support quotations and general customer support backlog management
- Recognize and develop opportunity for new product expansion the expectation is this role will generate NPI (New Product Introduction) which will require working closely with product lines on both technical feasibility and identification of target customer segments to support business case preparation.
- Own customer success story development and sharing for applications relevant to the Korea market
- Work closely with channel partners and the FAE team to ensure efficient utilization of resources for bestinclass customer support services.
- Drive new design in/win and revenue growth in Korea market
Requirements:
- BSEE required MSEE preferred.
- 10 years of sales experience in the semiconductor industry familiar with Korea Wireless Home Networking WiFi Fiber and Industrial Market
- Assertive customer focused persistent ambitious to achieve targets.
- Well organized and strong communication (spoken and written English & Korean) and interpersonal skills with ability to work with diverse set of personalities and cultures at different levels across time zones in real time
- Proactive selfstarter with high energy willing to work hard to achieve agreed sales revenue growth
- Seniority to understand business boundaries
- Preference will be given to candidates who have experience in the target customer segments within the territory ideally the candidate will have worked directly in an engineering design capacity for a target customer in the past
