Role Description

This is a fulltime onsite role for a Water Resources Engineer located in Thomasville GA.

• The Water Resources Engineer will be responsible for daytoday tasks including but not limited to storm water management water quality analysis hydrologic and hydraulic analysis water distribution and wastewater collection. The Water Resources Engineer will prepare reports conduct site assessments and surveys and design and oversee construction projects.
  

• The Water Resources Engineer applies broad knowledge of principles and practices in water resourcerelated civil engineering and land development projects. He/she works on multiple projects of moderate size or portions of major projects. This position requires independent evaluation selection and adaptation of standard techniques procedures and criteria. With a growth mindset the Water Resources Engineer will acquire a general knowledge of principles and practices of related fields and the ability to function on multidisciplinary teams.
  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Designs and prepares complete project documents.
  
• Contributes to the continual improvement of processes and deliverables.
  
• Assigns tasks to and directs engineers technicians and administrative staff.
  
• Plans and coordinates detailed aspects of the engineering work.
  
• Prepares scopes budgets and schedules for assignments.
  
• Assists with proposals to provide professional services or obtain funding for engineering projects or programs.
  
• Receives general direction on key objectives.
  
• Receives guidance when necessary on unconventional or complex problems direction on modified techniques and new approaches on assignments with conflicting criteria.
  
• Interacts with clientele and travels to clients customers officials contractors and others as needed.
