Job Description
2D AutoCAD Draftsman
Pay: $19.50/hr
Hours: Monday Friday 8:00 AM 4:30 PM (Overtime as necessary)
Job Type: Temp to Hire
Location: Broken Arrow
Job Description:
- Drawing & Design: Create accurate 2D drawings of parts from PDF prints using AutoCAD.
- Support Account Managers: Assist with various tasks as needed by Account Managers.
- Job Documentation: Write up detailed job instructions for the shop floor.
- CAD Review: Check and verify customer CAD drawings to ensure accuracy.
- Nesting Software: Utilize nesting software for efficient design processes.
- File Management: Organize and maintain relationships between models and drawing files.
- Record Keeping: Keep accurate and uptodate records of all design work.
- Industry Standards Compliance: Ensure that all drawings and plans adhere to industry standards and regulations.
- Technical Support: Provide guidance and technical support to team members when needed.
- Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned.
MustHave Qualifications:
- Specific experience in 2D CAD or a strong interest in computerbased work.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to producing quality work.
- Proficiency in MS Office and the ability to learn internal business software systems.
- Familiarity with manufacturing methods procedures and related hardware/software for manufacturing and automation.
