Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computing Science Software/Computer Engineering or equivalent professional experience
• 5 years of developing C applications in professional team environment
• 2 years of developing C# applications in professional environment

Our client in the gaming industry creates engineers licenses and leases both hardware and software through their proprietary network for casinos. They also provide various support and maintenance services.

About the Role

The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for the growth enhancement and maintenance of the company’s range of gaming software and tools. They will actively participate in the development of game projects from concept to launch and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Expertly write stable understandable upgradable and maintainable code in both C# and C
• Refactor design and develop common features for use across multiple applications
• Forecast and report tasked projects to team leaders on a daily and weekly basis
• Communicate with crossfunctional teams in the interest of sharing and gathering knowledge and problem solving techniques
• Investigate and repair software defects on projects both pre and postrelease

Candidate Requirements

• Expert proficiency in C and Visual Studio
• Experience developing C# and .NET framework
• Proficient in object oriented design and development
• Experience working with bespoke enterprise communication protocols and standardized protocols like JSON protocol buffers message queues etc.
• Experience with TDD refactoring unit testing continuous integration and agile best practices are a plus
• C# language features such as lambdas reflections and LINQ
• C# WCF communications and MVC4 web applications
• SQL PL/SQL or MS SQL Server
