We have a fantastic opening for an Assistant Director of Nursing at a reputable Nursing Home.
Are you a nurse that is passionate about making a difference in peoples lives Do you have excellent leadership and communication skills
- Supervise the staff on the day to day running of Haven Bay i.e. receiving morning report and handing over at night and liaising with Director of Nursing Asst. Director of Care CNM s staff nurses & carers on matters arising.
- Facilitate and manage any staff issues that should arise e.g. staff discipline complaints.
- Participating in the surveillance and promotion of the health wellbeing and safety of residents visitors and employees.
- Provide training for staff both practically and in workshop settings.
Requirements
- A minimum of 7 years of postregistration experience.
- Have not less than 3 years experience of nursing older persons in the last 6 years.
- Hold a FETAC level 6 or equivalent in leadership and management.
- Have indepth knowledge of regulatory requirements and regulatory inspection activities relevant to residential care centres.
- Promote an ethos and culture of quality assurance within the clinical area including identifying and establishing benchmarks and KPIs in consultation with the Director of Nursing.
- Be available to work fulltime hours.
