We are Hiring an Assistant Director Of Nursing for a leading hospital in Wicklow Ireland.
Responsibilities
- To be a highly competent knowledgeable practitioner in the care of the elderly.
- To participate in the Management Team actively.Maintain a high standard of professional and ethical conduct.
- To manage the development of the overall service plan and review the service against the plans.
- To assist with the direction and supervision of the nursing service to provide a high level of resident care and management.
- To provide innovative and effective leadership support and advice to nursing and allied staff at all levels.
- To guide all staff in the implementation of Centre policies
- Ensure nursing staff adheres to standards and guidelines relating to professional nursing practice and behavior
- The involvement in discussions on the provision of services e.g. catering cleaning and laundry services.
- To undertake other relevant duties as may be determined from time to time by the Director of Nursing
Requirements
- In the last six years a qualified nurse with at least three years of management experience has provided care for elderly patients
- A postregistration management degree in medicine or a similar field Demonstrated success in clinical management in healthcare
- Superb organizational communication and leadership abilities
- Ability to make sound decisions and resultsdriven
- Capacity to collaborate effectively and foster a team atmosphere
- A readiness to adjust and be adaptable to the demands of the business
