Job Description

RecruitNet International Ltd is specializing in relocating qualified professionals throughout Ireland and overseas

We are Hiring an Assistant Director of Nursing Theatre/Procedural Areas and Daycare Areas for our Hospital client in Dublin.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for leading and managing the senior nursing team within their assigned areas of responsibility
  • Attend management meetings with heads of departments and clinical nurse managers as deemed appropriate. Additionally actively participate in working groups or committees relevant to the role.
  • Enhance the patient experience by placing the patient at the core of all hospital activities and advocating for their wellbeing with dignity respect and compassion. By prioritizing the patients needs and preferences we strive to deliver improvements in their overall experience.
  • Assume responsibility for Bed Management during nonoperational hours in the absence of the Bed Utilization/Scheduling Manager.
  • Collaborating with other staff members in key leadership positions actively contributing to the attainment of the organizations strategic financial and operational objectives




Requirements

  • Be registered on the general division of the register of nurses maintained by NMBI (essential)
  • Must have 5 years postregistration experience in an acute setting (essential)
  • Have a minimum of 3 years of management experience at CNM2 or above (essential)
  • own a track record of setting up and running a new service (important)
  • Possess a recognized degree or relevant experience in the field (recommended)
  • Have finished a mandatory management training course.
  • Possess demonstrated clinical and professional aptitude
  • Possess strong IT abilities and be adept at using all necessary apps.
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills and the capacity for independent work.
  • Possess outstanding leadership and communication abilities and the capacity to interact favorably with both personnel and patients.
  • Exhibit great enthusiasm and motivation.
  • Possess the capacity to communicate with employees at all organizational levels.
