Production Engineer

1. Production and Fabrication Planning:
   

   • Develop and implement comprehensive production and fabrication plans to meet quality and quantity targets.
     
   • Optimize manufacturing and fabrication processes to improve efficiency reduce waste and enhance overall productivity.
     

2. Quality Assurance:
   

   • Collaborate with the quality control team to ensure that both production and fabrication processes meet or exceed industry standards and customer expectations.
     
   • Implement and maintain rigorous quality control measures throughout the production and fabrication stages.
     

3. Process Improvement:
   

   • Identify opportunities for process improvements in both production and fabrication areas implementing changes to enhance overall effectiveness.
     
   • Conduct regular audits of production and fabrication processes to identify and address areas for improvement.
     

4. Equipment Maintenance:
   

   • Oversee the maintenance and calibration of both production and fabrication equipment to ensure proper functionality and adherence to quality standards.
     
   • Coordinate with the maintenance team to address equipment issues promptly.
     

5. Fabrication Techniques:
   

   • Apply expertise in fabrication techniques to ensure the proper creation and assembly of components.
     
   • Collaborate with design teams to optimize fabrication processes and materials selection.
     

6. Team Collaboration:
   

   • Work closely with crossfunctional teams including design R&D and quality assurance to ensure seamless collaboration throughout the product lifecycle.
     
   • Provide technical support and guidance to production and fabrication staff.
     

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering (B.E.) or Diploma in a related field.
  
• Additional preference for candidates with a diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
  
• Proven experience in a manufacturing or production engineering role with a focus on fabrication preferably within the medical device industry.
  
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes fabrication techniques quality standards and continuous improvement methodologies.
  
• Proficiency in using engineering software and tools.
  
• Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills.
  
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
