Purpose of role: To Assist the test & Integration engineers in team.
Responsibilities:
1. Generate 3D models of the components assemblies tooling & fixtures.
2. Create 2D manufacturing drawings from 3D CAD models along with Bill of Materials.
3. Ensure the release of the manufacturing drawings with GD&T as per aerospace standards.
4. Interaction with design manufacturing integration and quality teams to ensure the design meets all requirements.
5. Supports product sourcing purchasing and selection as required by the design process.
6. Provides technical and engineering support for daytoday processing product development and process improvements.
7. Confirms system and product capabilities by designing feasibility and testing methods and properties.
8. Develops manufacturing processes by designing and modifying equipment for fabricating building assembling and installing components.
Technical Skills:
1. Strong knowledge of CAD modelling drawings and machine design with experience in design analyses Experience with SolidWorks Auto Cad & Creo.
2. Fundamental understanding of common fluid and electrical components such as but not limited to valves regulators solenoids actuators etc.
3. In depth understanding of GD&T.
4. Hands on experience with high pressure gas systems and/or Cryogenic systems.
Other Skills:
Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to write design reports test plans and deliver design presentations.
2. Passion for space exploration and firm belief in delivering affordable access to space.
3. Selfdriven engineer who thrives in ambiguity.
4. Passion & Tenacity to tackle challenging issues unique to Aerospace Industry.
5. Experience in startup or agile development environment.
6. Ability to inspire comradery and mutual respect in a diverse team.
Qualification:
1. Bachelor of Science or Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering (23 years experience)
