ROLE Mobile and Web Application Penetration Tester

As we continue to expand our online presence we are seeking a skilled and motivated Security Tester ( Penetration Tester ) to strengthen our security posture and safeguard our digital environments

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Penetration Testing

   • Conduct thorough penetration tests on web applications APIs and mobile applications to identify vulnerabilities
   • Explore common software and proprietary applications for security weaknesses

2. Advisory Role

   • Provide expert advice to managers on remediation measures to strengthen applications and address vulnerabilities in software and infrastructure security

3. Security Architecture

   • Develop and maintain a security architecture process aligned with business technology and threat drivers
   • Plan and create penetration methods scripts and tests to enhance security capabilities

4. Threat Intelligence

   • Leverage threat intelligence to proactively hunt for indicators of compromise and vulnerabilities

5. Security Strategy

   • Develop security strategy plans and roadmaps based on enterprise architecture practices

6. Testing Schedule

   • Plan and schedule penetration tests for our application environment ensuring thorough coverage

7. Reporting

   • Create detailed reports and recommendations from findings highlighting security issues risks and suggested remediation measures
   • Present findings risks and conclusions to management and relevant stakeholders

8. Risk Minimization

   • Provide advice on minimizing risks and recommend methods to fix or lower security risks to systems

9. Documentation

   • Document feedback and submit comprehensive reports to managers for review

REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience as a Mobile and Web Application Penetration Tester
• Expertise in conducting penetration tests on web applications APIs and mobile applications
• Knowledge of security architecture principles and enterprise security practices
• Familiarity with threat intelligence and proactive vulnerability hunting
• Strong scripting and testing skills for penetration methods
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present findings to both technical and nontechnical audiences
