We are seeking a Radiologic Tech - CT to: Perform a wide variety of routine and advanced imaging procedures utilizing a wide variety of radiographic equipment, computers, and detectors. Set up the imaging room to coincide with the examination being performed to include the use of proper isolation precautions when needed. Provide basic maintenance and repairs, participate in QA, and resolve issues related to image processing and the image archiving system. Minimum Requirements:Facility Requirement: Traveler must have permanent address outside 50 mile radius of Madison (address must be included in traveler's profile). Experience: Minimum two years clinical CT imaging experience required. Traveler must have experience in an Academic Level 1 - Trauma center or similar size hospital. Prior traveler experience highly preferred. Licensure and Certification: Certification by appropriate body, CT (ARRT) Wisconsin Radiological LicenseBLS - issued by American Heart Association only Education:Graduate of a School of Radiologic Technology. References: Needs 2 completed references from recent work environment/assignments (supervisor or manager only for work performed in the last two years). Floating Travelers are the first to float to floors working with children up to 1 year of age and/or based on the traveler's competency skills/experience. The Traveler may have shifts scheduled in multiple units, depending on the current staffing needs and/or different locations within the organization. During the traveler s assignment, if the primary unit no longer has a need, shifts will be re-assigned to another unit in order to complete contract. Location: University Hospital, 600 Highland Ave, Madison, WI 53792 Parking: Permit required through UW Transportation.
