Position: Computed Tomography Technologist (CT)

Shift Notes: 12 hr. shifts Friday through Monday taking calls Friday Sunday night 36 Hour Guarantees

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Prepares and positions patients for Xrays and selects exposure factors accurately.
• Prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications within the accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations.
• Observe the patient during the procedure and report abnormal activity. Monitors protocols and recommends updates or refinements as warranted.
• Follows radiation safety procedures and guidelines. Prevents patients from being exposed to unnecessary radiation.
• Performs patient assessment and communicates actively with the healthcare team. Completes all required documentation related to patient procedure and exam charges.
• Adapts imaging methodology using approved modifications and communication with the physician as needed.
• Serves and protects the hospital community by adhering to professional standards hospital policies and procedures and federal state and local requirements.
• Establishes a clean orderly safe and professional work environment. Reports equipment malfunctions promptly and actively assists in arranging repairs following established processes.
• Attend scheduled inservices and attend periodic continuing education.
• Maintains patient confidentiality and demonstrates honesty and integrity at all times in the care and use of resident and facility property.

• Must have CT and Xray Required
• Must have WY license Required
• Ultrasound Experience Highly Preferred
• ARRT (does not need to be CT) Required
• GE experience Preferred
