Recruiting Responsibilities:
Prepare and post all vacancies with internal and external sources, and evaluate candidate job-fit by screening applicants to evaluate work history, education and training, job skills, compensation needs, and other qualifications
Perform searches for qualified candidates according to relevant job criteria using internet recruiting databases, media, recruiting firms, employee referrals, and job fairs
Review employment applications and screen applicants to evaluate work history, education and training, job skills, compensation needs, and other qualifications
Schedules interviews; oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.
Leverage the applicant tracking system to maintain all records and update accordingly
Utilize platforms to create automations and efficiency
Assists with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with managers, directors, and other stakeholders.
Conduct new hire orientation and oversee the entire onboarding process
Submits online investigation requests and assists with new-employee background checks
HR Responsibilities:
Process new hire paperwork in ADP Total Source
Collaborates with department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria
Distribute information on and explains benefits such as; health, dental, vision, and other voluntary benefit programs including the 401K plan.
Assists with the processing of bi-monthly payroll and ensures deductions are accurate.
Assists with the preparation of the performance review process.
Provide administrative support to the human resource function as needed
Prepares and maintains the electronic employee file system.
Ensure employee files are current and accurate, both in the individual personnel file. Maintain updated personnel, benefits, and medical files.
Conduct new hire orientation training.
Type reports, memoranda, correspondence, performance appraisals and other communications as required.
Coordinate employee recognition and certificates.
Coordinate staff mentoring and rewards programs as applicable programs.
Support employees with benefit enrollment and change requests.
Continuously innovate the job function for the company and other requests as needed
Performs other related duties as assigned by management
Qualifications and skills:
Bachelor s Degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience
At least 2 years related experience required
Experience with ADP Total Source WFN is highly desirable
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Working understanding of human resource principles, practices and procedures
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
Ability to function well is a high-paced and at times stressful environment
