Job Summary:

The Automotive Finance Manager plays a crucial role in the automotive dealership by overseeing the financial aspects of vehicle sales and lease transactions. This role involves managing financing options, working closely with customers, and ensuring all paperwork and financial processes adhere to legal and company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Customer Financing:

• Assist customers in exploring financing and leasing options for their vehicle purchases.
  
• Present and explain financing terms, rates, and payment plans.
  
• Secure financing approvals through various lending institutions.
  

2. Paperwork and Documentation:

• Prepare and review all required finance and lease documents with customers.
  
• Ensure all paperwork is complete and accurate in compliance with legal and dealership regulations.
  
• Submit financing applications to lenders and follow up on approvals.
  

3. Product Knowledge:

• Stay updated on available vehicle models, financing programs, and manufacturer incentives.
  
• Provide expert advice and recommendations to customers regarding financing, vehicle service contracts, and aftermarket products, while maintaining an acceptable PVR.
  

4. Compliance:

• Ensure that all finance and insurance processes adhere to local, state, and federal regulations.
  
• Maintain a thorough understanding of legal requirements and implement necessary changes to stay compliant.
  

5. Sales Team Collaboration:

• Work closely with the sales team to facilitate a seamless transition from vehicle selection to financing.
  
• Provide guidance and training to sales staff on finance-related matters.
  

• Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing any financing-related concerns or questions.
  
• Resolve customer issues in a professional and timely manner.
  

Requirements

• At least two years of experience in an Automotive Finance setting.
  
• Knowledge of financial products, lending, and insurance options.
  
• Strong understanding of legal and regulatory requirements in the automotive financing industry.
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  
• Proficiency with finance and accounting software.
  
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
