Recommended post for experienced Housekeeper who enjoys cooking and likes dogs!
Appreciative employer in part time residence (with no children at home) is looking for a capable, hands on housekeeper to look after general cleaning, laundry and ironing for a beautiful 5 storey home in Chelsea. Part time cleaner employed to assist although the top floors are rarely used so simply require dusting.
A confident family style cook would be a bonus for the 2 principals who prefer a healthy diet when in residence and dont eat much meat. When not in London employer travels to their country residence where they spend a great deal of time. Their dog travels with them so no dog care or indeed cooking is needed when they are away.
Role is 5 days a week, generally Monday - Friday, around 9-5 (with flexibility needed if entertaining). Ideally they are looking for a housekeeper who would be happy to stay on site at weekends when not working, just for security. Cover will be given for holidays/weekends when Housekeeper has other plans.
Staff accommodation provided is a super separate 1 bed house at the end of the garden. Salary negotiable around 40k gross pa.
Start date is flexible according to when right candidate found.
