Our client, a privately-held, vertically-integrated commercial real estate investment firm focused on value-add acquisitions and distressed acquisitions in the Western half of the US, seeks an Acquisitions Analyst to join theircollaborative, growing, & entrepreneurial environment.
This is a rareopportunity for an early career commercial real estate financial analyst, Associate broker, or recent graduate to join a collaborative, well-capitalized, and fast-paced deal-making team and grow your career within a thriving, entrepreneurial organization.
A day in the life of the successfulAcquisitions Analystincludes, but is not limited to:
- Assisting with thesourcing off market new development and existing lease opportunities through strategic cold calling campaigns
- Supporting the team with deal negotiations beginning with letters of intent (LOIs) for each identified investment
- Managing and overseeing the teams acquisition pipeline including properties under evaluation, stages of LOI, and deals under contract
- Conducting initial deal analysis, and gathering the necessary data to facilitate proper credit underwriting of each new asset
- Managing the due diligence process for individual assets or portfolios, under the guidance of senior members of the Acquisitions team
- Assisting members of the Acquisitions team as they compile information forinvestment committee
- Maintaining and growing the team s CRM database
Requirements
The ideal Acquisitions Analyst possesses the following skills & experience:
- An undergraduate degree in finance, real estate, or related field preferred
- Experienced in the analysis, underwriting, and financial modeling of core real estate assets (multifamily, Office, Industrial, & Retail)
- 1-2 years of professional experience
- Organized, detailed oriented, able to multitask, and manage multiple competing projects and deadlines
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- An analytical thinker, with a solutions-oriented approach to problem-solving
- Able to work independently and collaborate internally & externally to achieve a desired result
- Experience with Salesforce CRM is preferred
