Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Accountant, to join a growing team.
The Opportunity
As the Senior Accountant, uou are responsible for overseeing financial data integrity, producing and reporting on financial statements and working with financial systems. In this position you will be apart of general accounting, monthly closing, finacial reporting and cash management.
- Produce the monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close managerial reports.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and all statutory filings.
- Responsible for the work in the areas of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.
- Design and implement cost control measures to ensure budget compliance, effective asset management and maximize cash flows.
- Prepare bank reconciliation, revenue and expenditure variance analysis, capital assets accounting, year-end closing entries.
- Generate the necessary journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements required for the closing process.
- You are proficient in Excel and Netsuite
- You have an excellent attention to detail and are very organized.
- Payroll exoerince a plus.
- You have strong knowledge of accounting, reporting and financial concepts and principles.
- You have a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- You have 3-5 years of experience in the accounting field.
