Job Description
Our client world leader in life sciences and medical diagnostics is looking for Sr Software Engineer (Hybrid) based out of Santa Clara CA. Kindly look at the details below and let me know your interest regarding the same.
Duration: Long Term Contract (Possibility Of Further Extension)
Pay Rate: $80/hr $85/hr on W2
As a Software Engineer (C#.NET/C) you will take part in owning instrumentation software development for digital pathology. You will design and develop elegant and maintainable codes for userinterface (UI) and backend logic enabling image capture. This is a dynamic team with a big focus on being agile and nimble. Each instrumentation team member will have a big ownership on development own it from concept to development to integration. The successful candidate will have fullstack (highly preferred) software engineering experience with expertise in C# .Net C and JavaScript.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with marketing/product engineering and clinical teams to translate user needs into highly usable design outcomes
- Design modify develop write and implement software programming applications applicable to devices systems and solutions
- Design unit integrated and subsystem test processes and procedures
- Maintains existing software systems through revisions and documentation
- Ensure all userinterface design requirements are met as part of the product development process
- Lead and contribute to development and testing in an Agile/Scrum environment and delivers highest quality software against aggressive schedules
- BS/BA degree in Computer Science Science or Engineering or relevant field
- Expertise in C C C# Object Oriented programming .NET WPF Angular software architecture networking distributed systems and Instrumentation/Robotics
- Experience in JavaScript web based frontend frameworks Python Linux and Virtualization
- Demonstrated experience in owning and driving design projects from idea to launch
