Job Description

We are looking to employ a driven direct sales representative to introduce company products to potential customers and close

Responsibilities:

  • Source new clients, rapidly build rapport, close and manage new sales and revenue generating opportunities, from initial prospecting to close via inbound & outbound phone and internet mediums

  • The candidate should have a wealth of knowledge about the merchant services and point of sale space, the product offering, and also analyse market trends and emerging payment technologies, develop sales, price and profitability strategies, recommend improvements, identify opportunities, and increase

  • Able to analyse prospect merchant statements and present back savings in leveraging the Metaprise payments product with partnered merchant services

  • Continuously expand knowledge of the Metaprise platform and banking knowledge for speaking to the integration process and how the product complements its

  • Support merchant relationships through customer sales and support, up-sells and cross-sells relevant product offerings across all

  • Maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities and log all data

  • Other responsibilities and duties as required

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of Direct Sales experience is required

  • 2+ years successful high volume cold calling, consultative selling, and relationship building sales experience

  • Strong interpersonal skills both internally and externally with customers

  • Deep understanding of competitors and ability to highlight key differentiators

  • Strong verbal, written communication skills, listening skills

  • Entrepreneurial spirit, energetic self-starter, demonstrates persistence, tenacity, tact, and consistency in pursuing revenue opportunities

  • Excellent organizational, analytical, time management, and problem-solving skills, team player

  • Experience working with a CRM such as Salesforce, ZoHo, Netsuite,

  • Must have demonstrable computer skills and aptitude for technology, including proficiency with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, ), CRM, and project management software, + other SaaS platforms/applications
