Job Description

Our client is looking to hire a full-time team member, both to support our existing clients as well as to fuel further growth of the company. As the Digital Marketing Specialist, you will be primarily responsible for executing digital marketing activities, especially in the areas of content marketing, social media, and email marketing. An ideal candidate will have some prior digital marketing experience, at either agencies that work with B2B clients or at B2B companies. Together, we ll collaborate to build a marketing agency that stands out for the way we treat both our clients and our employees.

This is a remote position based out of Pittsburgh, PA.

In this role, you will:

  • Create exceptional written content (e.g., blog posts, eBooks, case studies, white papers)
  • Publish on social media and grow our clients and our own social presences
  • Write and build monthly email newsletters and other email marketing campaigns
  • Research and curate third-party content for social media and email marketing
  • Execute tasks within HubSpot Marketing Hub
  • Be involved in a range of sales and marketing activities - while primary responsibilities will be social media, content marketing, HubSpot, and SEO, your day-to-day work may vary greatly
  • Execute these activities for both clients and company
  • Collaborate closely with and challenge our existing team members - employees, freelance partners, clients, and the company s CEO


Requirements

We are looking for people who:

  • Have a strong foundational understanding of inbound and digital marketing, backed by at least 1-2 years experience
  • Are exemplary writers who write clean, concise, well-polished copy, with the capability to adjust their writing depending on the client and audience, with strong sample work
  • Can become mini-experts on multiple industries, numerous clients, and each client s customers
  • Know how to work with technical SMEs to take complicated concepts and turn them into pithy, understandable, and accessible marketing content
  • Understand how to grow social media presences and drive organic reach and engagement
  • Are comfortable and capable of convincing others that your creative ideas are worth investing time and effort in, as well as challenging ideas and assumptions
  • Have a track record at managing multiple tasks independently, on-deadline, and successfully
  • Have strong knowledge of and experience with B2B marketing
  • Are passionate about marketing, keeping up with the latest best practices and trends and willing to bring them to the table to improve our work for our clients
  • Have an entrepreneurial spirit and a love for their work
  • Are comfortable taking on new roles and responsibilities and pushing their comfort zone
  • Enjoy the variety of wearing many different hats as needed by our company and clients
  • Speak English fluently and are authorized to work in the United States

Bonus experience:

  • Using HubSpot Marketing and Sales Hub software
  • One or more HubSpot certifications
  • Executing and optimizing Google Ads campaigns
