Responsibilities:
- Excellent employment opportunity for a Project Coordinator - IT in the Foster City, CA area.
- Perform the role of Operations Manager, including budget management for $80M+ budget, project coordination of small security initiatives, and provide operational oversight for our MSP by reviewing MORs, resource management, SLA adherence, and change order management.
- Assists more Senior Project or Program Managers in the day-to-day aspects of managing projects or programs, such as developing project or program artifacts, communicating to team members, managing the project or program schedule, developing and posting status reports, checking on the quality and timeliness of work.
- Assists more Senior Project or Program Managers in the development of project or program plans and RFIs/RFPs.
- Tracks, monitors and develops reports on project performance.
- Prepares project status reports, briefings, financial analysis reports, time reports and other project control documents.
- Effectively identifies issues monitors risk and escalates for support as appropriate.
- Assists with project risk management.
- Provides continuous administrative support to Project Managers to ensure accuracy and efficient production of reports and other relevant documentation.
- Follows established and relevant SOPs and methodologies in performing their work.
- Provides feedback to management on changing methodologies/standard operating procedures, as appropriate.
Experience:
- Typical candidates will possess 2-4 years of relevant experience and BS in Computer Science or related fields or equivalent experience or an M.S. and 1-2years of relevant experience.
- Possesses a basic understanding, but is continuing to gain expertise, in Company project management processes and related methodologies, tools and techniques.
- Possesses good working knowledge within one or more IT areas or disciplines, typically working independently within their area of technical/functional expertise.
- Able to come up to speed quickly in other areas of expertise relevant to the success of the project or program.
