Job Description
A rapidly growing research company in the Boston area is urgently looking to hire a Billing Specialist. The ideal candidate will have 1-3+ years of billing experience, strong excel skills (including formulas), and great interpersonal skills. This billing specialist will ideally have experience with legal billing but it is not required.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain project listing spreadsheet and client billing information
- Generate invoices and manage all complex billing arrangements
- Work closely with project lead to resolve any billing discrepancies or issues
- Coordinate with Cash Applications team to apply payments properly
- Review daily ACH/Wire payments
- Maintain all spreadsheets using complex formulas within Excel
Qualifications:
- Must be advanced with Excel formulas including but not limited to: VLOOKUPS, Pivot Tables, Index Matching, Nested Formulas, etc
- 1-3+ Years of billing experience is required
- Legal billing experience is highly preferred
- Alti-Pro/Elite experience preferred but not required
- Bachelors degree preferred
