Job Description
Job Title: Splunk Specialist (US Citizen Only)
Location: Remote
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications
Responsibilities:
- Administer and manage the Splunk environment including installation configuration and troubleshooting.
- Design and implement Splunk dashboards reports and alerts to provide actionable insights and support datadriven decisionmaking.
- Develop and optimize Splunk queries and data models for effective data analysis and visualization.
- Collaborate with IT and security teams to integrate Splunk with other systems and applications.
- Perform regular maintenance tasks including updates patching and performance tuning.
- Monitor and analyze system performance troubleshooting issues to ensure optimal operation.
- Provide technical support and training to users and stakeholders on Splunk functionalities and best practices.
- Stay current with industry trends and updates related to Splunk and data analytics.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- Experience with Splunk including deployment configuration and management.
- Proficiency in creating and managing Splunk queries dashboards and reports.
- Strong understanding of Splunk architecture including indexers search heads and forwarders.
- Experience with integrating Splunk with other systems databases and applications.
- Knowledge of IT and security best practices including log management and data analysis.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.
- Federal Experience is a plus.
- Required Security clearance.
