Summary of the job:
Ensuring the development taking into account new technologies, including ensuring the associated tests with regard to the requirements of ISO26262 (especially ASIL C/D) and the (ASPICE) development process.
Tasks
Responsibilities:
- Acting as an internal and external contact person and leading working groups, e.g., assessment reports, safety cases, project status reports, etc.
- Carrying out conceptual activities (e.g., methodical approach to the management of functional safety according to ISO26262, ASPICE etc.).
- Participation in the strategy development of the department. Leading and advising specialist project managers and project employees, instructing and training employees
- Release of documents and data regarding functional safety at specified milestones (e.g., FuSi release recommendation)
- Creation/maintenance of safety plans according to ISO 26262. Creation of safety reports and safety cases
- Carrying out assessments and audits as part of the function of the safety manager and implementing/initiating derived measures
- Ensuring the control of drawings or data sets; Ensuring the development of documentation to prove the FuSi or the fulfillment of the ASPICE requirements
Requirements
Professional requirements:
- Studies in electrical engineering, mechatronics, systems engineering, electronics, functional safety or a comparable course / training
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in the development area of the automotive industry (ISO26262, ASPICE)
- Very good knowledge of English, ideally German
