Job Description

As a Senior Risk Manager at Finoa you will support the company's non-financial and multi-risk framework. You will be a valued advisor to our international team on numerous topics and use your expertise to advance our risk management division.

Tasks

  • Support the continuous development, enhancement, and maintenance of Finoa s non-financial and multi-risk framework, including risk assessment, risk models, stress testing methodologies, and managing operational, business, reputational, innovation, and DLT risks.
  • Conduct regular reviews and updates of policies, procedures, and manuals in line with industry regulations.
  • Assist in the implementation of regulatory requirements.
  • Contribute to conceptual and methodological improvements to the internal capital adequacy assessment process (ICAAP), including maintenance, development, and documentation of non-financial risk models.
  • Perform the required Pillar II calculations for risk reporting, capital and strategic planning.
  • Advise management on non-financial risk management to ensure effective implementation of the framework.
  • Conduct risk reviews (particularly on specific operational risk issues).
  • Contribute to audits and annual reports.
  • Provide timely analytical commentary and insight into the risk framework environment and in particular new regulations to the relevant governance forums and senior management.

Requirements

  • Relevant university degree and/or 3 years of work experience in the development and implementation of non-financial risk frameworks with a focus on policy and procedure frameworks, risk assessment, risk modeling, and stress testing.
  • Experience in non-financial risk management with a focus on financial services/banking/DLT industry.
  • Ability to explain complex concepts to non-specialists and see the big picture as well as the details.
  • Good knowledge of the relevant regulations (ICAAP, MiCA, DORA, KWG, MaRisk, BAIT).
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills, and critical thinking.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluency in English and German.
  • Focus on IT risks and understanding of Web3 technologies are a plus.
