Location : 14000 Riverport, Maryland Heights MO

HYBRID ON SITE

Team rotation schedule: 1 week in 1 week remote, moving into new building in 2023 need to be open to on site

Brett's team handles capital projects and works with a lot of internal clients. He has ETL and SQL developers on his team and they support sbase.

Day to Day Responsibilities: - In addition to job description and manager conversations

Capital Projects

Supporting sbase

Utilize SQL for data feeds

Teradata validation

MicroStrategy in excel

Stored Procedures

Fact Tables

Dimension Tables

Going to be more on the back end building views and tables that populates sbase for their internal teams

Working on multiple projects at once, need to understand the teams involved/impacted and the deadlines that need to be met for each one

Will be working with other orgs/groups (from the VP on down)

Must Haves: Qualifications:

Professionalism

Excellent communication

Interpersonal skills

5+ years of SQL experience (or Oracle or MySQL)

5+ years of ETL experience

Experience with Excel

Preferred Qualifications:

Coding experience

Experienced in the industry

Teradata experience

MicroStrategy experience

Job Description:

As part of the Business Intelligence team, the ETL Developer II plays a key role in designing, developing and supporting new and existing BI solutions for our users. The ETL Developer's primary contribution to the team involves transforming data into meaningful and accurate information which the business can consume. Performs data collection, analysis, validation and reporting. Designs, tests, and documents processes, SQL queries, and stored procedures. Extracts and analyzes data from various sources, including databases, manual files, and external websites. Responds to data inquiries from various groups within an organization. Creates and publishes regularly scheduled and ad hoc reports. Documents reporting requirements and processes and validates data components as required. Requires experience with relational databases and knowledge of query tools and/or statistical software. Strong analytical and organizational skills also essential. 5- 10 years of experience.
