Engineering Technician II

Summary:

We are looking for someone who will assist the camera team to capture real life images with different devices for comparison.

Responsibilities:

• Operate lab lighting equipment to capture lab images and run the evaluation tools.
• Collect the debug data, raw images, log and/or video to help debug and improve the feature repeatedly.
• Collect videos for feature evaluation and system performance.
• Organize captured data and do initial evaluation.
• Camera performance evaluation.
• Work with the team members for on demand data collection and camera update verification.
• Install, test, repair, and validate new and existing hardware.
• Configure and troubleshoot OS and firmware related issues.
• Set up and maintain lab space, tools, and materials of a hardware R&D lab.

Skills/ Education/ Experience:

• Education: BS, or undergraduate school in progress
• Total years experience in what industry, discipline or responsibility: years of experience not relevant. No requirement.
• Skills or processes candidates must have to be considered for role: able capture videos with mobile devices and kinds of motions (walking/running, etc.), operate the desktop/laptop with basic command instructions.
