Job Description
Summary
Department: MRI/Imaging
Shift timings: 19:00 07:30 Monday to friday (3 Days/12 Hours)
Per Week: 36 Hours
Roles & Responsibilities
- Prepare and position patients and select anatomic and technical parameters accurately to produce crosssectional images of the body.
- Perform patient prescreening scheduling and education related to the examination.
- Enter and monitor patient data transfer images from disk to magnetic media to produce the transparency and develop film in an automatic processor.
- Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
- Ensure prompt submission of highquality of all images and documents sent to PACS (image quality correct lead markers and patient data/history).
- Ensure equipment is properly functioning. Report potential problems or equipment malfunction toappropriate personnel.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and orderly department to include procedure rooms storage areas dressing rooms film storage area and any other areas in department.
Certifications
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
This is a 12hour shift 3 days each week with the shift schedule being from 19:00 07:30 total of 36 hours per week.. MRI Technician with Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification 2 professional references. Work Location: 500 S. Cleveland Ave. Westerville OH 43081. Only Travelers are considered who are staying above 60 Miles from the facility. The allinclusive hourly nonlocal pay rate for this position is $69.45/hr encompassing a taxable component of $55.61/hr along with a per diem of $13.83/hr.
