Azure Application Architect

Job Description:

1. Partner with business and technical stakeholders to understand applications portfolio, IT and business priorities, success measures to design implementation architectures and solutions. Understand the obstacles, and provide due diligence.
2. Architect solutions to meet business and IT needs, ensuring technical viability of new projects and successful deployments, while orchestrating key resources and infusing key Infrastructure technologies (e.g. Security, Networking, etc.), and Application Development and DevOps technologies (e.g. App Service, containers, serverless, cloud native, etc.) as appropriate.
3. Strong understanding of features and capabilities of the Azure (Security, Firewalls, RedisCache, Key Vault, Service Bus, ASR, Networking, OMS, Blob Storage, Resource Groups, NSG, Application Insights, SQL Server, Sql DB, Load-Balancers, ADF etc.)
4. Hands-on experience in designing, developing & deploying enterprise grade applications with Azure.
5. Ensure the proposed / designed applications / solutions exhibit high levels of performance, security, scalability, maintainability, and appropriate reusability and reliability upon deployment.
6. Ability to analyze systems and identify problems migrating to Azure cloud.
7. Analyze, Identify and suggest optimization and improvement opportunities.
8. Estimate and outline the solutions needed to implement cloud migration as well as continued operations
9. Execute the hands-on implementation of proposed solution and provide technical guidance to teams during the development and deployment phases
10. Proactively provide team members with the information and guidance of engineering methodologies, standards, and best practices and guide team to analyze and resolve any roadblocks.
11. Guide team to implement seamless CI / CD deployment to AZ environments.
12. Be an Azure Platform evangelist with customers, partners and external communities
