Job Description
Regional Services firm seeks an IT Systems Administrator to participate in managing the company s growing network and infrastructure. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the stability security and optimal performance of the company s infrastructure and related services. This position will play a key role in the management planning and operations of IT systems including using best practices for business operations and ensuring IT system s high availability and functionality.
Responsibilities:
Administer monitor and maintain the companys local and cloudbased server infrastructure ensuring high availability and reliability.
Install configure and update server hardware and software as well as manage user accounts permissions and access rights.
Monitor system performance identify bottlenecks and implement solutions to improve efficiency.
Collaborate with the IT team to plan and implement system upgrades patches and security updates.
Stay uptodate with industry trends and best practices to recommend and implement innovative solutions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in computer science Information Technology or a related field or equivalent work experience.
3 years of proven experience as a Systems Administrator or in a similar role.
Experience with Microsoft Azure O365 Exchange Intune Microsoft Teams Microsoft Defender
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Strong knowledge of Windows server operating systems.
Experience with networking protocols and concepts (TCP/IP DNS DHCP VPN).
Proficiency in scripting languages for automation tasks.
Relevant certifications (e.g. CompTIA A Azure Administrator Associate) are a plus.
Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
