Job Title: Professional - Procurement Analyst
Location: New Jersey, NJ
Roles and Duties:
Manage the procurement of materials and services for clients Renewable and Energy Solutions Team through accurate procurement project management and planning; innovative sourcing; and contract development, negotiation and administration.
Supplier identification and qualification; procurement project management and planning; procurement sourcing; RFP preparation; bid evaluation and negotiation, purchase order preparation; contract administration including: negotiating and settling claims or back charges, and dispute resolution; material and services planning to yield cost savings; tracking market conditions and identify spending trends to facilitate and leverage spend efficiencies; and, host and/or attend procurement and client interface meetings to facilitate procurement engagements.
Required Skills:
Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of procurement related experience for Sr. Procurement Analyst and at least 3 years of procurement related experience for Procurement Analyst. Without a degree at least 9 years of procurement related experience
Proficient in personal computer applications including Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
General knowledge of UCC & Contract Law
Supporting and preparing RFP, settle and negotiate vendor disputes and contract development and negotiation
Ability to travel
Innovative in sourcing and procuring materials and services
High interface with stakeholders; legal, finance, renewable energy operations and procurement team; lots of interaction cross functionality.
Demonstrated experience in contract negotiation and development
Demonstrated analytical skills
Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills.
Heavy on administrative and organization of contractors and facilitating approvals
Desired Skills:
Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP and ARIBA
Apply CPEX tools and concepts on product/process subsystems or manufacturing systems Optimize the production process, product design using a robust lean problem-solving methodology, with quantifiable impact to business metrics.
Develop KPIs to effectively manage process and product outcomes.
Utilize project management skills to lead assigned projects/programs to successful completion considering technical, budgetary, manpower and schedule requirements.
Collaborate effectively in a multi-disciplinary team environment to develop component designs and repairs; which meet site, Chromalloy and customer requirements for cost, performance, and durability.
Engage with the other engineers at the site to collaborate on projects and development of robust solutions impacting site operational and financial performance, utilizing CPEX tools; positively impacting the end customer.
Assist in making technical decisions on product/process design and provide definition to the team to ensure mutual success.
