Our client company is seeking an experienced manager to define and implementing strategic initiatives to ensure continued improvement in operational efficiency, cost reduction and quality for their products.

You must be willing to:
Provide technical expertise/leadership/mentoring to drive improvements in equipment performance in all areas
Plan/assist in the execution of various Lean Six Sigma transformation events/projects targeted towards improving the business's performance.
Carry out several technical projects/plant audits aimed at reducing costs/improving efficiency/quality
Assist plant in trouble shooting issues/follow through to completion of issue
Develop/implement Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Requirements (IF YOU DONT HAVE THESE, DONT APPLY)
BS in engineering
At least 7 years experience in a technical area or management (pulp/paper industry preferred)
Must be a proven leader/have union experience
Excellent report-writing skills.
Knowledge of methods for continuous improvement
Excellent people skills
Rigorous analytical approach/Perseverance, a focus on results
