Job Description

SALARY:

Total Annual Earnings of $87,000 - $120,000 (Includes Bonus and Overtime)
Pay Rate (after 60 days) $33.75 per hour
Saturdays 1.5x and Sundays/Holidays 2x pay
Limited overtime Monday through Friday (OT rate of 1.5x the hourly pay)


SHIFT:

8 hour work day, on one of three shifts, 1st: 11PM to 7AM. 2nd: 7AM to 3PM. 3rd: 3PM to 11PM. Holidays and weekends are also required.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Run routine analytical analyses on beer samples including: pH, ballings, alcohol, sodium, and iron.
Run routine analyses of packaged beer for oxygen, carbon dioxide, fill level, etc.
Routine testing of pasteurizers for proper pasteurization.
Conduct inspection and analysis of package integrity and specifications.
Coordinate quality analyses ensuring accurate results, timely completion, and proper responses and notification.
Perform various studies, statistical analysis, participate in PDCA teamsto improve quality throughout the brewery.
Other routine laboratory testing, as needed.


JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree in a science-intensive discipline (e.g. Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, etc.)
Ability to operate laboratory instruments and perform instrument (link removed)fortable working with drill press and electric cutting saw.
Knowledge of basic laboratory procedures and techniques.
Strong technical, troubleshooting, 5S, problem-solving, and root cause analysis skills.
Solid interpersonal skills and team orientation.
Must be flexible towork varying shifts during the week. Weekends and holidays may be required.
Comfortable working in a production environment.
Skilled in Minitab, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
