Roles & responsibilities:
Application administration, including managing the purchasing, installation, configuration, and upgrades of our whole Atlassian instance
Implement system changes and administer access to systems and information within approved IT security policies, guidelines, and standards
Build and manage agile and service desk projects
Create and maintain governance plans for Jira and Confluence
Design, implement, and build complex workflows, schemas, dashboards, and permission schemes to serve as templates for Agile teams
Assist in building out educational resources for our user base to become familiar and comfortable with Jira and Confluence
Analyze usage data and be involved in licensing discussions
Job Description:
5+ years of experience administering Atlassian
Understanding of different project management methodologies
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with both engineering and non-engineering audiences with customer focus and problem solving mindset
Familiarity with SQL and JQL
Experience with managing cloud applications and platforms
Ability to find out-of-box solutions to best fit clients needs
Self-starter with the ability to overcome all obstacles and challenges with little to no supervision
Ability to juggle multiple responsibilities and prioritize automation over manual processes
Bonus Points:
Atlassian Certifications
Experience using Atlassian's REST APIs
Experience working with teams across different offices and timezones.
