DS Technologies Inc is looking for Automation Tester with Selenium role for one of our premier clients.
Overview:
The Automation Tester will be responsible for developing maintaining and executing automated test scripts using Selenium for web applications. The role involves working closely with the development team ensuring software quality through comprehensive testing processes and contributing to test strategy improvements.
Position:
Automation Tester with Selenium
Responsibilities:
- Develop maintain and execute automated test scripts using Selenium
- Collaborate with the development team to design and execute test cases
- Perform regression functional and performance testing
- Analyze test results and report bugs for quick resolution
- Design and implement test strategies to improve coverage
- Participate in design reviews focusing on testability
- Continuously improve test automation framework and tools
- Maintain documentation related to testing processes and outcomes
Requirements / Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in software testing with a focus on automation
- Expertise in Selenium for web application testing
- Proficiency in programming languages (Java C# Python) for test scripts
- Experience with test management tools (JIRA TestRail) and CI/CD pipelines
- Solid understanding of SDLC and testing methodologies
- Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills
- Strong communication skills and teamwork abilities
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with ServiceNow or related IT service management tools
- Familiarity with Cucumber TestNG or JUnit
- Knowledge of API testing and automation
