Operations Client Service, AVP

This role will partner closely with Client Service, Global Delivery, and large Broker/Dealers to facilitate proper settlement of ETF in-kind transactions globally. The day to day responsibilities for this role will include, but not limited to the oversight of ETF order settlement, collateral management, responding to broker requests and/or questions, resolving failed trades across 35 North American clients, and growing. Additional emphasis on identifying risk, operational and/or procedural gaps as well as remediation of such is expected. The overall day to day environment is deadline driven, very fast paced with a steady flow of competing priorities.

The ideal candidate would have the following experience:

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Understands how to prioritize competing requests, ensuring follow through by themselves and the team.

Displays a positive, can do attitude

Experience and understanding of Exchange Traded Funds from a custody perspective.

Solid background in custody across domestic and international equities and fixed income

Proven background in ETF order settlement for CNS and non CNS funds

Strong knowledge of Corporate Action Processing and Settlement

Comfortable speaking with internal and external clients, providing presentations regularly.

Ability to work under pressure

Ability to delegate effectively with development of the team in mind

Ability to identify areas of risk and work successfully to eliminate these areas with implementation of proper processes and controls, fully documented.

Proactive mindset, looking for ways to improve current operations/processes without being asked/directed

Problem solving skills will be crucial to this role. Each day is unique and with it comes unique situations that the ideal candidate will need to be able to solve.
