A strong team of 20+ passionate SDRs, AEs and sales ops specialists is awaiting you to lead and develop the sales organisation. As our new Sales Director, you will:

  • Lead and develop a high performance sales organisation by hiring exceptional new talent and retaining the existing team, coaching and enabling the team leads, as well as foster sales practices and a value-based sales culture to ably serve our customers complex requirements
  • Demonstrate an analytical leadership style and data-driven decision making, continuously iterating on our sales processes and running experiments to identify further growth opportunities
  • Measure your teams effectiveness by monitoring operational metrics, identifying data patterns and creating cadence to review these insights with the team to improve both effectiveness and efficiency
  • Build and drive a predictable sales motion to facilitate our ARR growth goals by defining, implementing and improving customer acquisition strategies to grow pipeline quality and volume; managing successfully with accurate forecasting, accelerating pipeline velocity as well as effective sales processes
  • Establish organisation-wide sales tactics and spearhead the expansion into new markets to establish Workpath beyond the DACH market by setting up guidelines and rules of engagement that aligns all team members on the shared vision of how we do sales at Workpath
  • Partner with the other sales leaders and the product, customer success and marketing leadership to fuel our go-to-market strategy and messaging that build strong brand awareness, drive new customer acquisition, expand adoption and generate predictable revenue growth
  • Leverage your sales expertise and roll up your sleeves to take part in closing significant deals with members of your team

What makes you successful as Workpath s new Sales Director:

  • Proven track record in leading sales teams to double-digit ARR and demonstrated consistent, predictable growth in high-growth software / tech companies, ideally in scale-up phases between early stage and series B funding
  • Deep understanding of complex B2B SaaS / PaaS sales and subscription business models as well as their value drivers in large, global enterprise settings
  • Highly experienced with high-touch, explanation-heavy solutions and consultative sales processes (4-6 months)
  • Experience with partner (consultancies and beyond) sales and integration of partner activities into the overall go to market setup
  • Hands-on experience in driving expansion plans in new markets like UK/I, Australia, USA
  • Proven track record of hiring, developing, motivating and mentoring sales teams and managers by being an inspirational, enthusiastic coach
  • Self-starting, resourceful and pragmatic problem-solver with a strategic mindset and great passion for driving revenue and growth
  • Strong communication skills in English, German (written and spoken) is a big plus
