About the Team

The client is the top global conference and event organiser with its head office based in Melbourne, Australia. They have delivered some of the largest, most successful B2B industry conferences and events for over 10 years. Today, our events enjoy such a distinctive edge, they are amongst the best in Australia.

Why are the Hiring?

The team is growing! After deploying a successful initial campaign, the client is looking to add new members to the Delegate Sales team.

Key Accountability:
  • Your role will focus on the sale of conference tickets to business professionals.
  • To make cold and warm sales calls (B2B)
  • To contact existing and new clients (lists provided) and present benefits of our events, and secure their participation as delegates (selling delegate tickets)
  • To initiate and maintain timely follow-ups with clients
  • Managing the sales process and negotiating with the client in order to close the sale
  • Maintaining and updating client data on our internal CRM


Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have
  • 3+ years of experience in B2B tele-sales (preferably dealing with Australian clients but any experience in working for any global company would suffice).
  • Excellent autonomy and strong drive for success
  • High professionalism and initiative to contribute to the success of the company and to his/her own professional growth
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Excellent English speaking and business writing skills.
  • Demonstrated ability in the sales process from establishing relationships with clients to closing the sale.

Key Performance Indicators:
  • Meeting and exceeding set sales targets
  • Meeting and exceeding calls and emails - daily target
