Job Description

Position: Customer Service Representative

Location: Boston, MA 02116

Duration: 2+ Months (Possible Extension)

Summary
The Customer Service Representative is responsible for operating key stations by activating a typewriter-style keyboard terminal via (NDP-250) scanner for the purpose of updating the computer.
Responsibilities
  • The Customer Service Representative is responsible for operating key stations by activating a typewriter-style keyboard terminal via (NDP-250) scanner for the purpose of updating the computer.
  • Checks for discrepancies between source documents and data for accuracy from the NDP-250 scanner.
  • Sort incoming mail.
  • Analyze and batch documents for scanning purposes.
  • Review problem data, check for discrepancies, and make corrections for the batches received.
  • Operate general office machines such as adding machines, fax/photocopy machines, joggers, letter openers, and optical scanning machines.
  • Assist internal/external customers via telephone with check issues.
  • Manually key data and collect revenue and submit checks to the receiving teller of the department.
  • Maintains logs of daily activities by recording work performance.
