Job Description

This is a remote position.

An amazing opportunity to work with a dynamic American Based Healthcare Company as an experienced, vibrant, and highly motivated Bookkeeper Virtual Assistant.

Reporting to the Finance Manager you will be responsible for supporting the accounts team with bookkeeping and accounts administration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintains records of financial transactions by establishing accounts; posting transactions; ensure legal requirements compliance.
  • Develops system to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts; defining bookkeeping policies and procedures.
  • Maintains subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions.
  • Balances subsidiary accounts by reconciling entries.
  • Maintains general ledger by transferring subsidiary account summaries.
  • Balances general ledger by preparing a trial balance; reconciling entries.
  • Maintains historical records by filing documents.
  • Prepares financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
  • Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying requirements; enforcing adherence to requirements; filing reports; advising management on needed actions.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Other Responsibilities

  • Conserves executive s time by reading, researching, and routing correspondence; drafting letters and documents; collecting and analyzing information; and initiating telecommunications.
  • Maintains executive s appointment schedule by planning and scheduling meetings, conferences, teleconferences, and travel.
  • Welcomes guests and customers by greeting them, in person or on the telephone, and answering or directing inquiries.
  • Prepares reports by collecting and analyzing information.
  • Represents the executive by attending meetings in the executive s absence and speaking for the executive.
  • Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
  • Completes projects by assigning work to clerical staff and following up on results.
  • Secures information by completing database backups.
  • Provides historical reference by developing and utilizing filing and retrieval systems and recording meeting discussions.
  • Maintains office supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; evaluating new office products; placing and expediting orders for supplies; and verifying receipt of supplies.
  • Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer s instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories; and evaluating new equipment and techniques.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.


Requirements

  • Bachelor s Degree
  • Qualified Bookkeeper
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • Highly organized, process-oriented
  • Experience in the ff:QuickBooks, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Word, Spreadsheets
  • Experience with a US client
  • Sound knowledge/understanding of payroll, accounts payable and receivable processes



Benefits

1. Monthly Salary: Php 35,000

2. Salary will be paid on a bi-monthly basis on the 1st and 16th of each month

3. You will be paid extra for overtime and Philippines public holidays

4. Probation: 6 months and after Probation

ü 10 days annual leave credits

ü 5 days of sick leave

5. 13th Month Pay after 30 days

6. Laptop provided after 30 days

7. Permanent work-from-home role. You will have to use your own internet.

8. NIGHT SHIFT: 10PM to 7AM Philippine time, Monday to Friday
