Job Description
Heavy Equipment Mechanics are needed for openings in the Miami, FL region. Positions for full-time Field or Shop Technicians, with experience on multiple earth-moving equipment brands. Mechanics will be responsible for upkeep and maintenance of Excavators, Wheel Loaders, Skid-Steers, Dozers, Articulated Dump-Trucks, Backhoes and more.
Heavy-Duty Mechanics will need a background in hydraulics, ability to read schematics, electrical wiring, diagnostics, and part swaps to tracked and wheeled machines. Understanding of preventative maintenance and ability to follow technical manufacturer manuals are essential. Priority will be given to technicians with diesel engine backgrounds.
Successful Candidates will bring:
- 3+ years off-road equipment maintenance experience
- Dealership background a strong asset, though not necessary
- Own Tools, Valid Drivers License
- Ability to complete drug screening, background checks
Compensation/Shifts:
- $20.00 - $40.00/hour depending on experience/certifications
- 1st Shift (Monday to Friday), 7:30am start
- OT available, local travel for Field Techs
